الـ 7 وصايا لطلاب الجامعة

المرحلة الجامعية هي المرحلة التي تعني عند الكثيرين نهاية مسارهم التعليمي أخيرا! وكما ذكرنا 7 نصائح لطلاب الثانوية العامة لتحقيق أقصى استفادة من هذه المرحلة، فسنذكر مثلها أيضا لطلاب المرحلة الجامعية:

أدرك أنك حر!

قد تبدو هذه النصيحة بدهية! فنحن بالفعل أحرار؛ لكن في الحقيقة ما زال الكثير منا تقيده قيود مرحلة الثانوية، وآراءُ وضغوط الأهلِ والأصحاب والمجتمع…

وإدراكك أنك حر سيساعدك أن تتحرر حقا من تلك القيود ويوجهك إلى الإمساك بزمام أمورك.

لكن تذكّر: الحرية تعني المسؤولية؛ فأنت الآن ملزم بنفسك ومطالب بتطوير مهاراتها.

لا تكتفِ بالكُلِّيَّة فقط:

تُعدُّ فترة الكلية الفترة الذهبية في عمر الإنسان، فالمعلومات المكتسبة ذات قيمة كبيرة، وكذلك مجموع التجارب والخبرات والمهارات التي ستكتسبها إبّانها، وهي لا تقل أهمية عن مقررات الكلية، بل ربما تفوقها أهميةً؛ فعندما تُقدِمُ على وظيفةٍ فلا يكفي مستوى تعليمك ومعدل درجاتك وحسب؛ بل في اختبار التقدم للوظيفة تُقاس أهليَّتُكَ للعمل بإتقانك لأمورلا علاقة لها بما درسته في سنواتك الدراسية؛ كمهارات التواصل، واتخاذ القرار، والعمل الجماعي، وإدارة الوقت وغيرها، وهي ما تسمى بـ soft skills.

ويشهد سوق العمل الآن ضخ الكثير من خريجي الجامعات كل سنة، فإن تساوت الشهادات والدرجات فالأفضلية -لا شك- لمن لديه القدر الأكبر من هذه المهارات.

ونذكر هنا مقولة للأمريكي مايك روي تقول: “not all knowledge come from college” أي ليست كل المعرفة تأتي من الكليات؛ فكثير منها يأتي بالتعرض للتجارب المتنوعة.

وأهم فترة لاكتساب هذه المهارات هي فترة الكلية، فهي الأمثل لخلوها تقريبا من القيود والمسؤوليات في الفترتين قبلها وبعدها.

حَسِّن مستواك في الإنجليزية:

لا يكاد يشك أحد في قيمة الإنجليزية في وقتنا هذا، فإتقانك لها قد يوازي –أحيانا كثير- شهادتك الجامعية! فإن لم تبدأ بتحسينها الآن فقد تفوتك فرص لا تعوض، كمنحة دراسية أو وظيفة في شركة عالمية أو حتى في شركة محلية، فلا يخفى عليك مدى ارتباط السوق المحلي بالعالمي في واقعنا الآن.

تعلم كثيرا ما استطعت:

أنت لا تستطيع تقرير ما إذا كنت تصلح للعمل في مجال دون غيره إلا بعد أن تجرب نفسك في مجالات عدة.

وكذلك أنت لا تدري هل ستعمل في مجال تخصصك بعد التخرج، أم ستعمل في غيره كما الكثيرين.

فتعلمك منذ الآن وخوضك للتجارب يوفران لك ملاذا ورصيدا من الخبرات يمكن الرجوع إليه إذا ما عملت في غير تخصصك، وذلك لأنك اكتسبت معارفَ شتى وخبراتٍ متنوعة تستطيع أن تلج بهما خياراتٍ متعددة في سوق العمل.

احضر ندوات ومحاضرات متنوعة ما استطعت:

تستضيف الجامعات الآن محاضرات منصة TEDx الشهيرة بطابعها التحفيزي، وتلك فرصة ذهبية لتفيدَ من محاضريها وخبرتهم الممتدة عبر سنوات طويلة في مجالات شتى، ولحسن الحظ أن تلك المحاضرات متاحة الآن على الإنترنت مترجمة، فبإمكانك سماعها في أي وقت. وكذلك تنظم بعض المؤسسات والجهات المحلية دورات وأنشطة ينبغي ألا تفوت ما عندهم من خير قد ينفعك.

اشترك في نشاط طلابي:

إن تعذَّر عليك العمل، أو لم يكن مناسبا كما هو الحال لكثير من الفتيات، أو في حال كنت تعمل ولديك فائضا من الوقت فالتحقْ بإحدى الأنشطة الطلابية؛ فهي تؤدي نفسي الغرض تقريبا، ويمكن أن تكتسب منها بعض المهارات كالتي ستكتسبها من العمل؛ مثل العمل الجماعي، وإدارة الوقت، وحل المشكلات…إلخ

ادخل مجال العمل الحرFree Lance:

بمرور الوقت يتسع مجال العمل الحر أكثرَ ليضمَّ أعمالًا جديدة، والجديرُ بالذكر أن الكثيرين بدأوا بترك أعمالهم في مجال تخصصم بل وكُلّياتهم ليعملوا في هذا المجال! وهذه –قطعا- ليست دعوى لترك الكليات أو الأعمال، بل دعوى للتعلم؛ ذلك أن الأمر سَيُثْرِي من تجاربك وخبراتك، كما أن له عائدا ماديا مجزيا، وربما يفوق الكثير من الأعمال التقليدية المنتشرة حاليا، كما أن العمل الحر يوفر عليك مجهودا ووقتا لم تكن لتجدهما في الأعمال الأخرى، فالعمل –غالبا- يكون من المنزل وليس مرتبطا بساعات معينة فأنت مدير أعمالك.
