مبدأ باريتو يقول أن 80٪ من العواقب تأتي من 20٪ من الأسباب.
تُعرف هذه الوصية أيضًا باسم قاعدة 80-20.
يُطلق على هذا المبدأ اسم الاقتصادي الإيطالي ، فيلفريدو باريتو ، الذي وجد أن 80٪ من الثروة في إيطاليا مملوكة باستخدام 20٪ من السكان.

في مجال الرعاية الصحية في الولايات المتحدة ، يستخدم 20٪ من المرضى 80٪ من أصول الرعاية الصحية.
قانون باركنسون Parkinson
هو نظام قائم تمامًا على مفهوم أن العمل يتوسع لملء كل الوقت المتاح لإكماله ، وهذا يستدعي في الوقت الحالي عدم تخصيص وقت أكبر لتنفيذ العمل.

قانون كارلسون Carlson

إذا لم تتمكن من إنهاء مهمة ما ، فتوقف عن القلق وخذ قسطًا من الراحة.

قانون لابوريت Laborit
ينص قانون لابوريت على أن تقوم بالمهمة الأصعب في بداية اليوم، لأنه دائما نريد أن نتلاشى المهام الصعبة التي يجب علينا القيام بها خلال اليوم.
مثلا إذا كانت المهمة التي يجب أن تقوم بها اليوم هو أن تأكل ضفدعا، فيجب أن تأكله في الصباح وتنتهي من الأمر، لأنك ستظل طول الوقت تفكر في أكل الضفدع، وستأكله في النهاية.
فدائما ابدأ بالمهمة الصعبة في بداية اليوم لتجنب التوتر والقلق الناجم عنها مما قد يؤثر على انتاجيتك في بقية المهام.
قانون هوفستدر Hofstadter
ينص هذا القانون على أن أي مهمة ستأخذ وقتا أكبر من المتوقع لها حتى بعد أن تعرف أن هذه المهمة ستأخذ وقتا أكبر من المتوقع ليها، هه.
فمن المهم عند تحديد موعد تسليم مشروع ما أن تزيد نسبة من 30 – 50 في المئة من هذا الوقت، لربما يتسغرق هذا المشروع أو العمل عليه وقتا أكبر من المعتاد.
المثال العملي
الآن سنقوم بضرب مثال عملي لتجميع هذه القوانين وتطبيقها على مهمة يجب علينا القيام بها، والمثال هو إذا كنت طالبا وعليك أن تسلم بحثا عليه 40 بالمئة من درجة المادة
فبكل تأكيد هذا البحث هو الأهم على الاطلاق
وحسب قانون لابوريت فهذا البحث يمثل الضفدع الذي يجب أن تبدأ به.
ويجب عليك حسب قانون باريتو أن تحدد ال 20 بالمئة المهمين لتغطية ال 80 بالمئة من البحث المطلوب
وحسب قانون باركنسون يجب عليك أن تضع إطارا زمنيا لإنهاء البحث لأن المهام تتمتد لتشغل كل الوقت المحدد لها.
ولكي تحصل على أفضل نتائج يجب أن تعمل على هذا البحث بدون مقاطعة حسب قانون كارلسون
وحسب قانون أيليش الذي ينص على التركيز فيجب عليك أخذ قسط من الراحة باستخدام البومودورو
وحتما ولابد عند وضع وقت محدد يجب أن تضيف من 30 ل 50 بالمئة زيادة على هذا الوقت حسب قانون هوفستدر
